FAQ
Who are your trips designed for?
Our trips are designed for women aged 40-70 seeking deeper connections. You don’t need to be an elite athlete or a seasoned camper, just open to new experiences, willing to carry your own backpack, and excited to explore the wild coast with a supportive group.
Do I need backpacking experience to join?
Nope, but comfort with the outdoors will make your trip much more enjoyable. Our trips are beginner friendly and we provide guidance every step of the way. You’ll receive a full packing list, coaching on how to pack and train, and support during the journey.
What is included in the trip price?
Each trip includes professional guiding, meals featuring local ingredients, group gear like tarps, stoves, and bear bags, campsite fees, and activities led by our guide staff and yoga instructors. You’ll bring your own personal gear we’ll send a detailed list and help you source what you need.
What kind of food will we eat?
We prioritize fresh, delicious meals using local ingredients wherever possible. Our menus are designed to fuel your body and delight your senses, even in the backcountry. We can accommodate most dietary needs just let us know in advance.

Where will we sleep?
We’ll camp in beautiful, remote beach or forest locations usually in tents. You’ll need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag, and pad, and we’ll help you prepare so you’re cozy and comfortable.
How physically demanding are the trips?
We hike 5-12 km (around 2-4hrs) a day on rugged coastal trails and beaches, carrying our own gear. The pace is moderate with plenty of breaks, and we build in time for rest and reflection. If you’re reasonably active and willing to train a bit ahead of time, you’ll be well prepared.
What if I don’t know anyone else coming?
That’s perfect, most of our guests come solo! Our trips are designed to build connection from the start, with games, shared meals, and time to talk and reflect. A trip like this brings people together.
Is there cell service on the trip?
It is increasingly possible to get service from the US on the beaches, but we recommend turning off and using your phone as a camera only. These trips are a chance to unplug and be fully present with yourself and us and the natural world. We carry emergency communication devices so you’re always safe.
What kind of gear do I need?
We’ll send you a complete packing list and help you get everything you need. Some women borrow or rent gear for their first trip, we’re happy to give you tips, tricks and recommendations.
Can I talk to someone before signing up?
Absolutely. We’d love to connect. Contact us here: or send us an email at adventure@wildbridgetours.com, and we can set up a call to answer your questions.
