Day 1

Begin the journey with travel to Balaats’adt, located at the head of Nitinat Lake.
After lunch and settling into our accomodation there is time to explore a bit and spend some time at the beach, or take a nap!
Evening: Settle in and meet your fellow adventurers with good food and a series of get-to-know-you activities. This is also a good time to get help packing your backpack and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Day 3

Boat ride and hike to Tsusiat Falls
Morning:
Start the day with a short hike and a 40-minute boat ride down Nitinaht Lake, soaking in the breathtaking views.
Hike: Upon arrival at the trailhead, we’ll begin the hike to Tsusiat Falls.
If the tides are right, experience a fantastic opportunity to take photos at the iconic “Hole in the Wall” sea arch on the way.
Afternoon: If the weather cooperates, we should reach the falls by early to mid-afternoon, giving us plenty of time to swim for those who wish to enjoy the refreshing waters.

Good Food

As part of our commitment to sustainable travel, we work hard to find, forage and make food from our neighbours whenever possible!

What we can’t make for ourselves this year, we’re sourcing from West Coast Kitchen in Cobble Hill. Most of our fresh food comes from Jollity Farm on Thetis Island.

Since we make so much from scratch we can accommodate almost any special diet, just ask!
